If I was a BDS operative, I would get depressed and would start looking for another line of work (doing something a little more constructive, for a change). The Israel haters of the world, most
of them first class ignoramuses, are going to find it increasingly difficult to explain why Israel is being feted and appreciated by the Chinese if it is such a horrendous little country.
Granted, China is not known for being a flag-bearer of human rights (actually they don't care about the very concept one bit), but they are highly pragmatic people. So now we have a most bizarre
inversion, where one of the very last communist dictatorships is more pragmatic than ideologically driven in its choices, while Western countries (including to a disturbing degree the US under
Obama) is more concerned about ideology than about pragmatism, which would otherwise dictate the obvious choice of always siding with Israel, which has so much to offer in so many fields to so
many people, rather than with the Palestinians, who have nothing to contribute at all in any area. Go figure.
